Job Responsibilities

• Professionalism in customer service.
• Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations.
• Load and unload goods.
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.

Salary Package

The salary package is attractive along with other benefits such as accommodation. The Dubai’s lifestyle is also a plus in this job. The expected salary package for the candidate is estimated to be CAD 24 per hour.

Education

Education is not necessary. The candidate can be uneducated but he should be well-mannered and should greet the visitors well.

Experience
